Electronics is a ghost

Electronics is a ghost

Yes I know it would be a little humorous to say that “Electronics is a ghost”, rather insane but reader’s let’s try to somehow justify it today!

You people must have heard of ghosts, right? So tell me what they can do? The answers would be that they can walk through the walls, they can maybe go from one place to another in a blink of an eye, ghosts can fly in the air and yes of course they can vanish, just like that! So in short ghosts are something supernatural we people (most of you who are like me) are extremely afraid of.

When I was little once I asked my mother “Mama if ghosts can do anything then how easy would be life for them. Things that we do with so hard work would be as easy as a piece of cake for them. They could get anything they want just in a snap”. To this my mother replied with the universal answer “Hmmm…”. Though the answer was a little short but enough to satisfy my curiosity. As I grew up I realized that things which were supposed to be the ghosts stuff has become a part of our lifestyles today and the thanks goes to science.

If people who can see at huge distances seems ghosts to you then what about those powerful telescopes through which you can see out this world into the Milky Way, and even out of the Milky Way into the other galaxies. If people who can fly are ghosts to you then it won’t be wrong if I call you a ghost too. Don’t you know of the airplane that carry tons of loads and takes you away swiftly to where ever you want to go? If you want to communicate a message to the world then what can be quicker than a tweet? Look at the cell phone, your android set; you are carrying in your hand. You are just a touch away from your friend who is sitting thousands of miles away. A single touch can connect you to him, isn’t it? A computer that you are using right now can calculate, store, process, manipulate and can do numerous things you can think of. Take a little chip either your sim card or memory card and realize that this tiny ghostly piece you are carrying is having so much capacity to keep your data which is even greater than your syllabus books, right?

Now just think if somehow you manage to go in the past, just a few hundred years back, and tell people there that in our world (which would be probably their future) we can fly in huge machines in the air or we can communicate over huge distances in no time or what if you tell them that we have such weapons that can cause dramatic destructions over miles, what would they do? Let me guess. They would probably both take you insane and run after you to teach a good lesson or they might get afraid as you are talking about something which is supernatural to them. The only reason behind such reactions is they don’t know that in the coming future is dawning a modern age of new discoveries and mind blowing inventions which will soon make this ghostliest stuff an essential part of life style.

Today’s modern men has become so technology driven that if for a single day all his daily electronics is taken away from him, that day would become the most terrible day of this life. Because living a single day without all those luxuries, which we take for granted, has become unimaginable for us.

After so many years, as being a science student, when I ponder over that childish question I once asked my mother, I smile to myself and think that today science has made things so easy for us which were once taken as inconceivable. Today’s modern life offers us so much lavishness which never existed even in our thoughts. Rightly has Arthur C. Clarke said “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from MAGIC”.

So next time if you encounter a real time ghost in your life, don’t panic!

Instead tell yourself that all day long you already have been dealing with so much electronic ghostlier stuff. So one more makes no difference, it’s okay.;)

this ghost is what we need it.and love too.like When heat pipes were being developed for semiconductor cooling, one of the development engineers stuck a heat pipe into a roast of beef and found that its cooking time was reduced and heating was more uniform. A cooks’ version quickly appeared on the market.upps ghost’s work in human’s eating time 😛
