Before I come to the topic I would like you people to know what does it mean by 4G LTE just in case you are unaware. 4G LTE stands for 4th Generation Long Term Evolution. It’s a high speed data type for modern smartphones. 4G LTE is capable to give you a downloading speed of upto 299.6 mb/s & uploading speed up to 75.4 mb/s. Having such a service in Pakistan really something worth appreciating for Pakistani users, Am I wrong?
In Pakistan at the moment it’s only warid that is providing us this service though it’s also in trial right now. Warid has announced free 4g lte trial data service in the following major cities of Pakistan.
In order to avail this service you’ll have to obtain a 4G LTE-enabled sim card from warid franchises for a charge of PKR 100Rs. To confirm whether 4G LTE service is available in your area or not just send a sms written 4G to 5555.
Keep in mind that waird 4G LTE service is free of charge at the moment but in case you’re out of 4G coverage area you’ll be charged for 2G data usages, so either subscribe to 2g data package besides or make sure 4G is available in the area where you’re going to use internet service.
At the end of my blog I’d also let you know that warid is providing 6 months free 4G LTE service to its iPhone users that has a usage limit of 5GB per month, just in case you’re already having iPhone & want to get benefits of this trial service better upgrade to iOS8 first for stable connectivity. Keep rocking with MuetTech.
